#68 | CREAKING WOODEN FISH
Based on our subject ‘gravity’ and its relationship with sound, I started creating a ritual of placing the glass balls in specific places on the ground. When I wasn’t holding any balls, I asked from myself and the audience to focus on the story behind my movement, the empty
space because of the lack of the object, as well as to imagine where my ritual would lead to.
After I finished with the placement of the ‘planets’, I was ready to fully destroy my ‘creation’ and create new relationships, new shapes in the space, new life.
I continued with my next ritual, where my goal was to bring on thoughts relevant to how
antigravity can deform an object, change its state, as well as how deeply we are all
connected and defined by gravity on this planet. I used sign language to warn the audience
for the next pop, but nothing changed their reaction to a "violent" sound. The change of
state of the balloon, from light, floating and bright, to crumpled plastic hanging heavy on
the floor adds a dramatic and maybe unpleasant tone. This was a collaboration with
musicians, dancers, and visual artists.

Walk of Ashes
Being inspired by the ash walk, I worked with the senses of micro-movements in the body
and the notion of infinity. I imagined that there was a thread passing through my umbilicus,
connecting the past with the present and the future. Holding my vertical axes, I was thinking
of carrying my inner treasure through time while moving inside a piece of clay. Staring
blurrily to eternity, while trying not to blink, and holding my mouth slightly open, I was
leaving my many selves behind by thinking of ashes falling from my mouth. I could keep
walking forever. My one activity during this performance was to bring a memory from the
past to the present by alternating the senses involved, by adding colors and smells, sounds
and textures.
