ANIMA(L) IN DIALOGUE
Body as a landscape and flesh as a path.
Discovering the personal mythology through elements of subjectivity.
Using charcoal on canvas I traced the visual representation of inner processes. Using charcoal on my body I traced the metamorphosis. ‘Anima(l) in dialogue’ enables the witnessing of my processes on a plane of exteriority, where all my tools, methods, and experiences are laid out simultaneously. One can observe the preparation of the physical plane, where my history exists in a dormant or active state, while at the same can follow the physical action that derives from the embodiment of translated texts to Sign Language, and gives birth to visuals. This activity enables the observer to receive the storytelling of my personal mythology through movement.
